The fundamentalists think our economy is strong.

Dow closes another 440 points down.

  1. Way off topic. I just barely discovered your other site, BNN, since I know little about the mysteries of the internets. Nevertheless, I was pleased and appalled when I hit the eighth most influential liberal blogger in the state (currently ten).

Pleased for vanity and appalled that an 80 hour a week oilfield truck driver would rate so high--meaning the bar must be low.

Still, like a crack whore I check BNN to check the ratings and have become familiar with some of the other posters who are "alleged" heavy hitters in Oklahoma.

A small critique here, but lot's of the "most influential" merely cut and paste--very little actual writing is done. I note your ranking system is proprietary, to prevent sandbagging the system, but a cut and paster is a braindead sonofabitch and a sorry excuse for a blogger. That is just shit spewing out and not adding to the sound and fury f the political diametric.

Further, I would surmise, that a lot of this is on autopilot and requires little babysitting on your part. Just a minor note from my part, quantity does note equate with quality, or "influence."

Not that I feel i have any influence at all, but my meagre attempts in the face of a massive realworld workload should not be diminished by mindless robotronic cut and pasters.

Thanks for listening to my rant. Thank you for BNN and giving me a goal. Help if you can.

  2. Actually, I don't control or run BNN, and I don't have anything to do with the ratings system. I'm just the Oklahoma editor. The guy who actually owns the site is a guy named Dave.
